Ports of Call Stamps
The Ports of Call Stamp series is a merge between an actual old stamps and the new look of some of the international ports the cruise ship visiting. The small 195 pcs limited edition printed on canvas and signed by the artist.
1.Hawaii: The Honolulu Kuhio beach Home of the Duke Kahanamoku Statue, “the father of modern surfing”. At the background is Diamond Head the Crater was formed about 300,000 years ago during a single, explosive eruption.
2.Alaska: The ‘Misty Fjords Seaplane’ Tour in Alaska. It is both an inspirational and educational experience of glacier carved fjords and Alaska wildlife.
3.India: The Taj Mahal is widely recognized as “the jewel of Muslim art in India and one of the universally admired masterpieces of the world’s heritage”. The head’s of Shah Jahan who commissioned the Taj Mahal to built in grief to his loved wife.
4.Mykonos: The Greek island and it’s biggest town also named Mykonos. There are currently 16 windmills on Mykonos of which seven are positioned on the famous landmark hill in Chora. Most of them were built by the Venetians in the 16th century.
